Location
Situated between the communes of Bettembourg and Hesperange, with the neighboring town of Zoufftgen on the French border, the commune of Roeser is accessible via the Luxembourg-Dudelange freeway.
Eight kilometers separate the center of Roeser from Luxembourg City, to which the towns of the Roeserbann are linked by a convenient public transport network.
With a total surface area of 2.379 ha, it ranks 2nd in size among the 14 communes that make up the canton of Esch-sur-Alzette.
Despite strong population growth over the past 30 years, Roeserbann offers its citizens a high quality of life and a healthy environment with 2,100 hectares of green spaces and forests.

On 1st January 2026, our municipality had a population of 7.185 residents, including 59.5% Luxembourg residents and 40.5% non-Luxembourg residents.
